Tasting notes

Golden yellow. Powerful and refined, with deep minerality and notes of apricot and quince marmalade. Full and fresh on the palate, with the structure of a red wine.

About this wine

Giallo d'Arles is Quintodecimo's single-vineyard Greco di Tufo, from the vineyard of the same name in the Santa Lucia district of Tufo, at 450 metres facing south-west, on clay-calcareous soil. Its name recalls the yellow Van Gogh loved during his time in Arles.

The grapes are picked by hand in mid-October and pressed whole; the must settles naturally and ferments 70% in stainless steel and 30% in new oak barrels, and the wine ages eight months on its fine lees, regularly stirred. This listing is the 2021 vintage.
