Tasting notes

Pale gold. The nose offers a rich range of white orchard fruit with nuances of walnut and a hint of toast. The palate is generous yet fresh, with good texture and a lively citrus finish.

About this wine

The Hospices de Beaune estate farms around 60 hectares of vineyards in Burgundy, donated over the centuries to the historic Hôtel-Dieu hospital. Its wines are sold each year at the famous charity auction in Beaune, then raised and bottled by a Burgundy négociant. The estate maintains 53 historic cuvées, 35 red and 18 white.

This white Beaune Premier Cru is made entirely from Chardonnay. It offers a rich range of white fruit, nuances of walnut and a fresh, citrusy finish.
