Tasting notes

Deep golden colour with fine bubbles. Aromas of toasted bread, brioche, stone fruit and pastry cream. The palate is creamy and generous, layered and complex, with a fresh, lemony finish of great length.

About this wine

Krug was founded in Reims in 1843 by Joseph Krug, whose dream was to create the very best Champagne every year, regardless of the vagaries of the weather. Six generations of the family have followed this philosophy.

Grande Cuvée is recreated each year as a new Édition, blending a large number of wines from many different vintages of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier. Every bottle carries a six-digit Krug iD that reveals its story. Deep golden, it is creamy and generous, with toasted bread, brioche and stone fruit and a fresh lemony finish. Presented in a gift box.
