Tasting notes

Deep straw yellow with golden highlights. On the nose ripe fruit, almond and delicate custard. The palate is rich and warm, with pear and quince supported by minerality and a fresh, long-lasting finish.

About this wine

M is the flagship white of Schiopetto in Capriva del Friuli, dedicated to Mario Schiopetto, one of the fathers of modern white winemaking in the Collio. The Friulano grapes are grown on the estate's south-facing slope and fermented in stainless steel.

The wine is made only in exceptional vintages and shows the depth and minerality that great Friulano can reach. The magnum format allows an even slower, more harmonious evolution over time, making it a superb bottle for celebrations or for laying down.
