Tasting notes

Straw yellow with greenish hints. The nose is floral, complex and soft, with notes of dried apricot and exotic fruit. The palate is full and pleasantly fruity, with good freshness balancing its round texture and a clean, gently aromatic finish.

About this wine

Tenuta Iuzzolini is an estate in Cirò Marina, in the province of Crotone on the Ionian coast of Calabria, with around 100 hectares of vineyards and an underground cellar built from restored local stone and 18th-century bricks.

Madre Goccia is the estate's white wine, a blend of the local Greco Bianco with Chardonnay from the vineyards at Carfizzi, grown on limestone and clay soils. It is made in stainless steel to preserve its floral character and ripe fruit, offering a fresh yet generous taste of southern Italy.
