Tasting notes

Golden with a fine, steady bead. Aromas of ripe pear, yellow plum, toasted brioche and dried fruit. The palate is generous and structured, with Pinot Noir richness, fresh acidity and a long, toasty finish. Serve well chilled in a tulip glass to enjoy the aromas and the fine bubbles at their best.

About this wine

Mailly Grand Cru is a growers' house founded in 1929 in Mailly-Champagne, on the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. All of its grapes come exclusively from the village's Grand Cru vineyards, where Pinot Noir dominates on chalky soils.

The Brut Millésime is made only in the best years from a blend led by Pinot Noir with Chardonnay. Long ageing on the lees in the house's chalk cellars gives it depth, complexity and a fine, creamy mousse. It is a Champagne for special occasions.
