Tasting notes

Pale salmon pink with a fine, steady mousse. The nose shows red berries, wild strawberry and delicate floral notes with a hint of meringue. The palate is fresh and juicy, with raspberry and citrus fruit, a creamy texture and a crisp, elegant finish.

About this wine

Mailly Grand Cru is a growers' house in Mailly-Champagne, in the Montagne de Reims natural park, recognised as a Grand Cru producer since 1920. All of its roughly 70 hectares lie in Grand Cru vineyards, in an area where vines have been grown since the 13th century.

Rosé de Mailly blends 90% Pinot Noir with 10% Chardonnay. Only first-press juice is used, enriched with reserve wine kept in a solera system, and the wine ages on its lees in the house's chalk cellars before disgorgement with a Brut dosage of 8 g/l.

It combines delicate floral notes and red berries on the nose with juicy raspberry and citrus on the palate: a lively, elegant rosé Champagne.
