Tasting notes

Bright golden colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers ripe peach, apricot and pineapple with hints of vanilla, brioche and dried fruit. The palate is fresh and intense, with juicy fruit, caramel notes and a crisp, lively finish of real freshness and length.

About this wine

Cordon Rouge is the emblematic Brut of Maison Mumm, the Reims house founded in 1827 whose red silk ribbon, inspired by the Légion d'honneur, has decorated the bottle since 1876.

Pinot Noir leads the blend and gives structure and red-fruit depth, while Chardonnay adds finesse and Meunier brings roundness. A generous share of reserve wines from previous harvests keeps the house style consistent year after year, and the wine rests on its lees for around two years before release.

Fresh, intense and easy to love, it is a versatile Champagne for celebrations as well as for the table.
