Tasting notes

Bright pale gold with a fine, steady bead. White peach, lemon curd and acacia on the nose, with a clear chalky, bready depth behind. The palate is precise and generous at once, its creamy mousse carrying ripe citrus over a firm saline spine. The finish is dry and long, leaving almond, grapefruit and crushed stone.

About this wine

Terroirs is Agrapart's Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, assembled from parcels across four villages of the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry. It is the estate's calling card and the cuvée that best shows what Pascal Agrapart's farming does for Chardonnay.

Each parcel is pressed and fermented separately in oak without malolactic conversion, blended with a portion of reserve wine and aged on its lees for around three years. Disgorged as Extra Brut with a minimal dosage, it is bottled without filtration.

A complete, chalk-driven Grand Cru Champagne at a remarkably fair price.
