Tasting notes

Pale gold with green glints. The nose is fresh and mineral, with citrus, white flowers, green apple and a hint of flint. The palate is taut and precise, with lively acidity, a chalky, saline texture and a long, clean finish.

About this wine

Pascal Bouchard is a Chablis house in northern Burgundy, where Chardonnay grows on cool limestone and clay slopes around the town of Chablis. This bottling is made from organically farmed grapes.

Vau de Vey is a Premier Cru climat on the left bank of the Serein river, west of Chablis, whose slopes give taut, mineral wines. As with every Chablis, the wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay, here vinified to preserve the purity of fruit and the stony signature of the site.

Precise and saline, it shows the classic freshness of the appellation and is a natural partner for seafood and refined white-meat dishes.
