Weinkellerei Thomas Schönlaub Eiswein 2018 is a rare German ice wine from the Pfalz, made from grapes harvested frozen on the vine and pressed while still frozen, in a 375 ml half bottle.

The Schönlaub family has made wine in the Pfalz since the 17th century; Thomas Schönlaub took over the winery in 2013. The result is a noble sweet, creamy and elegant wine with only 8.5% alcohol. In the glass: golden with intense aromas of honey, dried apricot, candied citrus and exotic fruit.

Serve at 10–12 °C with fruit desserts, crème brûlée, foie gras and blue cheeses. Pour it slightly chilled in small glasses to enjoy its sweetness at its best.
