Tasting notes

Pale ruby. Sour cherry and raspberry with a light floral touch. Light-bodied and juicy, with soft tannins and bright, lively acidity carrying a clean, fruity finish.

About this wine

Borovitza is a small winery from Belogradchik with cult status among Bulgarian wine lovers and vineyards in some of the coolest parts of the country – exactly the climate Pinot Noir needs.

The result is a light-coloured, fresh red with cherry and raspberry fruit, low tannins and lively acidity. Serve slightly chilled at 14–16 °C: Pinot Noir is one of the few reds that gains from it.
