Tasting notes

Pale salmon-pink with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens on wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant with delicate floral notes. The palate is fresh and round, with crunchy red fruit balanced by lively acidity, and the finish is clean, fruity and gently lingering.

About this wine

Brut Rosé Royal is the rosé expression of Pommery, the Reims house founded in 1858 and famous for the 18 kilometres of Gallo-Roman chalk cellars where its wines mature. It was Madame Louise Pommery who steered the house towards a drier, more refined style of Champagne in the 19th century.

The wine starts from the same blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier as the house Brut, to which a small proportion of still red wine from Pinot Noir is added to give its colour and red-fruit character.

Light, fruity and elegant, it is a rosé Champagne made for aperitifs and celebrations.
