Pale straw with a fine, gentle sparkle. Fresh herbal aromas lead to flavours of white peach, green apple and plum. Light-bodied and lively, with a pleasant balance of fruit sweetness and acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

About this wine

Leider Geil Prosecco Frizzante is a lightly sparkling wine made from Glera grapes grown in the Prosecco area of north-eastern Italy, bottled for the Leider Geil range. Frizzante means a softer, gentler sparkle than a fully sparkling spumante.

The nose is fresh and herbal, and the palate brings peach, apple and plum flavours with a lively bead and a good balance between fruit sweetness and acidity. At 10.5% alcohol it is light and easy to drink, and it won gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy.

Serve well chilled as an aperitif or with delicate cold appetisers.
