Tasting notes

Soft red fruit, ripe cherries and herbs on the nose with a spicy edge. The palate is round and consistent, with ripe fruit, balanced spice and velvety tannins, ending on a smooth, warm finish with a gentle touch of sweetness.

About this wine

Torrevento is a family winery in Corato, near Bari, at the foot of the Castel del Monte plateau in northern Puglia, and is regularly rated by Gambero Rosso, Luca Maroni and Wine Advocate. Its Seduttore – "the seducer" – is a Primitivo, the warm, generous red grape of Puglia.

The 2025 is intense and spicy, velvety and soft, with soft fruit, cherries and herbs on the nose and a round, consistent palate of ripe fruit, balanced spice and velvety tannins. It has 13% alcohol, a smooth style and gold medals from the Berlin Wine Trophy and Gilbert & Gaillard.

Serve at 16–18 °C with hearty meat dishes.
