About this wine

Melnik Jubilee 1300 is a rare Bulgarian grape created in Melnik and named after the 1300th anniversary of the Bulgarian state. Outside a handful of wineries in the Struma Valley it is practically unknown.

Villa Melnik includes it in its Rare Varieties series precisely for that reason. The wine offers red fruit, dried herbs and spice, with medium tannins and an easy, characterful style – a genuine discovery for curious drinkers.

Serve at 16–18 °C with lamb or peppers stuffed with meat.
