Tasting notes

Bright rose pink with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens on citrus and pink grapefruit, rose petals and ripe red berries. On the palate it is dry and softly fruited, the creamy bubbles balanced by clean acidity, closing long on raspberry with a faint citrus bitterness.

About this wine

Andreola, founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola at Farra di Soligo, farms the hills of the Treviso province with a firm family hand. Bolle Rosé is made from Incrocio Manzoni 13.0.25, a crossing of Raboso Piave and Muscat of Hamburg planted at around 150 metres.

Colour is drawn by a short maceration on the skins inside the press. The base wine then spends three months in stainless steel, and a 30-40 day second fermentation by the Charmat method, with one to three months in bottle, gives the wine its fine, creamy bead.
