Tasting notes

Pale gold with green glints and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and luminous, with citrus, white flowers, pear and a hint of exotic fruit. The palate is silky and precise, with bright acidity, delicate creaminess and a long, mineral finish.

About this wine

Ruinart, founded in Reims in 1729, is the oldest established Champagne house, and Chardonnay has always been at the heart of its style. Blanc de Blancs is the purest expression of this devotion to the grape.

Made from 100% Chardonnay, mainly from Premier Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, it is aged in the house's deep chalk crayères, which keep the wine at a constant cool temperature. The iconic rounded bottle is inspired by 18th-century designs.
