Tasting notes

Pale golden with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and delicate, with peach, white flowers, vanilla pod and a hint of brioche. The palate is lively and harmonious, with fresh fruit, a light honeyed touch and an elegant, clean finish.

About this wine

Taittinger is a family-owned Reims house whose story began in 1734 with the Champagne house Forest-Fourneaux, acquired by Pierre Taittinger in 1932. The house's wines mature in chalk cellars that include the crypts of the former Saint-Nicaise abbey.

Brut Réserve, its signature cuvée, stands out for a high proportion of Chardonnay, around 40%, blended with Pinot Noir and Meunier from many different crus. It spends more than three years in the cellars, well beyond the legal minimum, before release.

Delicate, fresh and balanced, it is a versatile Champagne for aperitifs and the table.
