Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose shows ripe yellow fruit, quince, apple and citrus. The palate has depth and weight, with an elegant structure, creamy mousse and a long, fruity finish. A Prosecco with real presence, length and finesse at the table.

About this wine

Cuvée E.G.O. is a special Prosecco from Villa Marcello, the Treviso project of the Mazzei family. It is named in honour of Countess Elisabetta Galvani Onigo, one of the pioneers of the style.

Glera is blended here with Chardonnay, which brings more depth and weight than a classic Prosecco. The result is elegant and well structured, with aromas of ripe yellow fruit.

With notes of citrus, quince and apple and a fuller palate, it is a Prosecco that holds its own at the table, especially with fish and seafood.
