Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow with greenish hints. The nose offers white flowers, almond, pear and citrus. The palate is fresh and balanced, with a gentle mineral note and a clean, slightly bitter-almond finish typical of Garganega.

About this wine

Zenato, the family winery founded in 1960 on the shores of Lake Garda, is best known for its Valpolicella reds, but it also crafts a classic white from the neighbouring Soave area east of Verona.

The Soave Classico comes from the historic heart of the appellation, where volcanic and limestone hillsides give the native Garganega grape its typical finesse. Fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve its fruit, it is a fresh, elegant and easy-drinking white, ideal as an aperitif or with light Mediterranean dishes.
