Tasting notes

Deep ruby. Dark soft fruit, plums and cherries with a fine herbal spice on the nose. The palate is velvety, soft and intense, with spicy notes and a pleasant roundness. Hints of liquorice and cocoa add depth, and the soft tannins make it easy to enjoy young.

About this wine

Casa Vinicola Botter was founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter and his wife Maria in Fossalta di Piave, near Venice, and is today part of the Argea group. Primadoro is its line of wines from Puglia.

This 2025 blend brings together the two emblematic red grapes of the region, Negroamaro and Primitivo. Negroamaro adds depth and a gently bitter-cherry edge, while Primitivo contributes ripe, generous fruit.

The result is a smooth, velvety southern Italian red with plenty of character for everyday meals.
