Tasting notes

Pale straw with a fine, lively perlage. The nose shows white flowers and citrus. The palate is elegant and saline, with fresh acidity, real depth for a zero-dosage wine and a long, clean finish.

About this wine

Andreola is a family winery in Farra di Soligo, founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola. Aldaina al Mas is a single-vineyard wine from a plot of about six hectares in the eastern part of the Rive di Guia, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene, at 250-350 metres on ancient marl and sandstone.

Made entirely from Glera, the base wine rests for at least six months in steel before a second fermentation in pressurised tank (Charmat method) lasting 30-40 days, followed by one to three months in bottle. It is bottled with zero residual sugar.

Elegant and saline, with floral and citrus aromas, fresh acidity, depth and a long finish, it shows how precise a bone-dry Valdobbiadene can be.
