About this wine

Riesling Fallwind is San Michele Appiano's Alto Adige Riesling from sites around Lake Monticolo and the neighbouring higher slopes, at 480 to 700 metres, facing south and south-east, on gravel and moraine soils with Guyot-trained vines.

The grapes are picked and selected by hand in late September, ferment in stainless steel and then rest on their lees for about five months before bottling. This listing is the 2022 vintage.
