Tasting notes

Straw yellow with greenish tints. The nose offers exotic fruit and white-fleshed stone fruit with a light citrus lift and a faint balsamic note. The palate is aromatic and harmonious, with a saline edge that keeps it fresh and a clean, gently fruited finish.

About this wine

Baiamore Bianco di Bianchi is Firriato's white blend, made at the Borgo Guarini estate in the interior of the province of Trapani, in western Sicily. The vineyards lie on hills at around 300 metres with a northern exposure, which keeps the nights cool and the aromatics intact.

Each variety adds its own line: Chardonnay brings tropical fruit, Inzolia a balsamic edge, Viognier jasmine, apricot and peach. The wine ferments in stainless steel and is then held three months on its lees, stirred daily, before bottling.
