Tasting notes

Pale salmon pink with an exquisite, lively bead. Red berries and citrus zest on the nose, with a floral, refreshing lift. The palate is creamy, with wild strawberry and a light raspberry finish.

About this wine

The Brut Rosé was created in 1970 by Jean Roland-Billecart and has become the signature wine of Billecart-Salmon, the family house founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.

The blend combines Chardonnay from some of Champagne's finest crus with Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Pinot Meunier from the Marne Valley. A small portion of Pinot Noir is vinified as red wine to give the delicate pink hue, and fermentation is slow and cool in stainless steel.

Fresh, refined and supremely elegant, it is one of the most admired rosé Champagnes in the world.
