Tasting notes

Pale salmon pink with an exquisite, lively bead. Red berries and citrus zest on the nose, with a floral, refreshing lift. The palate is creamy, with wild strawberry and a light raspberry finish.

About this wine

The Brut Rosé was created in 1970 by Jean Roland-Billecart and has become the signature wine of Billecart-Salmon, the family house founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.

Chardonnay from top crus, Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Pinot Meunier from the Marne Valley are blended, with a small share of Pinot Noir vinified as red wine for its delicate colour, after a slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel.

The magnum, the format many consider ideal for Champagne, gives this elegant rosé extra finesse and makes it a perfect gift.
