Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose recalls ripe peach and apricot, rose petals and a touch of ginger. The palate is sweet and delicate, gently sparkling and well balanced, with fresh acidity and a fragrant, lingering finish.

About this wine

Vietti's Moscato d'Asti "Cascinetta" comes from small vineyards in Castiglione Tinella, Piedmont, planted on soils rich in limestone and clay, with vines around 40 years old.

Fermentation is stopped by rapid chilling when the wine reaches about 5.5% alcohol, and it is bottled without malolactic fermentation to preserve its freshness and aromatic intensity.

The result is a delicately sweet, gently sparkling Moscato, light and fragrant, that works as well with fruit desserts as it does as a refreshing aperitif.
