About this wine

This Chablis comes from Domaine Billaud-Simon, an estate in the heart of the Chablis appellation, in the northernmost part of Burgundy. Its vines grow on the famous Kimmeridgian limestone soils that give the local white wines their crystalline purity, iodine freshness and lightness.

Made entirely from Chardonnay, the 2022 comes from a year the estate itself describes as a dream vintage, with aromatic, slender and pure wines. It is a straight, taut Chablis with clean acidity and a characteristic mineral, lightly saline touch, a natural partner for seafood.
