About this wine

Les Bottes Rouges is a small estate in the Jura near Arbois, founded by Jean-Baptiste Ménigoz. The vines have been farmed organically from the very start, and the wines are made with indigenous yeasts, without fining or filtration.

Castor is 100% Chardonnay, bottled as Vin de France in a pure, fresh and unfiltered style that reflects the limestone and marl soils of the region. Lively acidity and a fine, slightly nutty texture are its hallmarks, with fruit that gains depth as the wine breathes in the glass.
