About this wine

Château-Grillet is a legendary estate of the northern Rhône, one of the very few in France with an appellation of its own, working only with Viognier on granite soils.

This Côtes du Rhône was created in 2011 from the estate's young vines and selected parcels, and offers a more accessible view of the house style.

Lively fruit and refreshing tension combine with complexity and mineral power, and the finish is long and persistently aromatic. Although it can be enjoyed young, the wine has serious ageing potential.
