Tasting notes

Deep red. Ripe dark fruit and blackcurrant on the nose, with hints of plum and sweet spice. The palate is round and balanced, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a smooth, fruity finish.

Château Peybonhomme-les-Tours lies in Cars, on the right bank of the Gironde, and has belonged to the Hubert family since 1890. The vineyards are farmed according to biodynamic principles on clay-limestone soils.

This is the estate's main red wine, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec that shows ripe dark fruit with balance and fine tannins, a generous and approachable expression of the Blaye terroir.
