Tasting notes

Pale gold. The nose reveals mimosa, white flowers and vanilla. The palate is round and generous, with toasted notes, ripe stone fruit and a lively thread of lemon zest that carries through to a long, fresh finish.

About this wine

Lion & Dragon is the top range of Château Roubine, a Côtes de Provence Cru Classé since 1955 with more than 700 years of history. The estate's 72 hectares of vines, planted with 13 grape varieties, are farmed organically with biodynamic practices.

This white blends equal parts Rolle (Vermentino) and Sémillon, hand-harvested at night. It is aged for seven months in oak barrels on its fine lees, where it also completes malolactic fermentation, gaining roundness and complexity.

A rare, gourmet white from Provence that combines Mediterranean freshness with a creamy, layered texture, made to shine at the dinner table.
