Tasting notes

Deep straw yellow. The nose is delicate and layered, opening gradually with time in the glass. The palate is broad and elegant, rounder than a young Bianchello, with balanced freshness and a long, lingering finish.

About this wine

Crespaia is a small organic winery near Fano, in the Marche region, devoted to the local Bianchello grape. "Chiaraluce" is its selection in the Superiore category, made from a small, carefully chosen vineyard and conceived as a white wine for special occasions.

Compared with the winery's everyday Bianchello, it is rounder and fuller, and it opens slowly in the glass, rewarding a little patience.

This bottle comes from the 2015 vintage and has 13% alcohol: a mature, characterful expression of a lesser-known Adriatic white.
