About this wine

Vigne Basse is Terenzuola's Colli di Luni Vermentino, from about 12 hectares of vineyards at Fosdinovo and Castelnuovo, around 70 metres above sea level, on sandy-loamy, gravelly soils. It is mostly Vermentino with a little Albarola.

The grapes are picked by hand in September, in two passes as the different plots ripen. After short macerations and long, gentle pressing, the must settles naturally and ferments at controlled temperature; the wine then spends about four months on its lees in steel and is bottled in February to keep its fruit. This listing is the 2021 vintage.
