Tasting notes

Straw yellow. Delicate aromas of pear, apricot, acacia blossom and toasted almond. The palate is full and rounded, with a smooth texture from lees ageing, balanced acidity and a pleasantly fruity, clean finish that keeps it lively and very drinkable.

About this wine

Di Lenardo is a winery in Friuli, in north-eastern Italy, with vineyards in the municipality of Ontagnano. The estate is known for fresh, expressive varietal whites that show the clarity of the region's grapes.

This Pinot Grigio is made exclusively from hand-harvested Pinot Grigio. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, after which the wine rests on its lees for an extended period before bottling. No oak is used, so the lees contact adds texture while the fruit stays crisp and pure.

Easy to enjoy yet full of character, it is a versatile white for aperitifs and light everyday meals.
