Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose offers lemon, green apple and hints of tropical fruit and white flowers. The palate is light, crisp and refreshing, with citrus and apple flavours and a clean, slightly savoury finish.

About this wine

Cantina Albea is based in Alberobello, in the heart of Puglia's Valle d'Itria, the land of the trulli, the conical dry-stone houses listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The winery works with the native grape varieties of this limestone plateau.

Due Trulli Bianco is a blend of 85% Verdeca, the traditional white grape of the Itria valley, and 15% Minutolo, an aromatic local variety. After fermentation the wine rests for two months in bottle before release.

Fresh, citrusy and easy-drinking, it is best enjoyed young, within two years of the harvest.
