Tasting notes

Ruby red. The nose is generous and fresh, dominated by ripe cherry and sour cherry. On the palate it is round and fleshy, with soft tannins, good extract and a pleasantly dry, fruity finish. It opens up nicely with a little air and is best served in a generous glass, where its fruit and structure can fully unfold.

About this wine

Cantina Museo Albea is based in Alberobello, the town famous for its conical trulli, and the "Due Trulli" line takes its name from these iconic stone houses. This Primitivo is made from organically grown grapes harvested in vineyards in the province of Bari.

The wine is vinified to preserve the fresh, juicy fruit of the variety and rests for about four months in bottle before release, without heavy oak.

The result is a balanced, fruit-forward and easy-drinking Primitivo, an honest everyday red from the heart of Puglia.
