Tasting notes

Bright golden yellow. Fine, elegant and complex nose of yellow-fleshed fruit, broom and hawthorn blossom, with hints of vanilla, honey and minerals. Warm, soft and velvety on the palate, with balanced freshness, a full body and a long finish.

About this wine

Vigna Segreta is Mustilli's single-vineyard Falanghina, from the Pozzillo vineyard at Sant'Agata de' Goti, at 250 metres facing south-west, on calcareous, volcanic and clay soils, with Guyot-trained vines.

The grapes are picked and selected by hand and given a light cold skin maceration before fermenting in stainless steel. The wine then ages about ten months on its lees and at least three months in bottle. This listing is the 2022 vintage.
