Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with green highlights. The nose is fine, fresh and elegant. The palate is delicate and dry, with light, refreshing acidity, white fruit and the characteristic almond note of Cortese on the finish. Its freshness and finesse make it a versatile table companion.

About this wine

La Scolca is a family estate in Gavi, in south-eastern Piedmont, where four generations have devoted themselves to the Cortese grape and helped build the reputation of the appellation. Gavi "Etichetta Bianca" is one of the estate's classic labels.

It is made from young vines in the heart of Rovereto, the area the family calls the "grand cru of Gavi", and vinified traditionally in stainless steel at controlled temperature to preserve its finesse.

The 375 ml half bottle is a practical size for lunch or dinner for two.
