Tasting notes

Pale pink. Aromas of red berries, blackcurrant and redcurrant, followed by rose and grapefruit. The palate is fresh and juicy, well balanced, with a long aromatic finish.

About this wine

Côte des Roses Rosé is Gérard Bertrand's most recognisable wine from Languedoc, famous for the bottle base moulded in the shape of a rose, a design that has made it a favourite gift.

Grenache Noir, Syrah and Cinsault are picked and vinified separately. The grapes are chilled to 8 °C before pressing, and fermentation lasts from 15 to more than 30 days depending on clarification and temperature. The wine is bottled fairly early to preserve its fresh, fruity character.
