Tasting notes

Pale lemon with green glints. The nose shows lemon, green apple, white flowers and the typical flinty, oyster-shell note. The palate is crisp and clean, with racy acidity and a refreshing saline finish. Serve chilled but not ice-cold, so the aromas and the texture can fully open in the glass.

About this wine

The Droin family has grown vines in Chablis since 1620, and Benoît Droin, the 14th generation, took full charge of the estate in 2014 after his father Jean-Paul. Around 26 hectares spread on both banks of the Serein river, from Petit Chablis to Grand Cru.

The grapes are pressed gently and fermented with native yeasts. The village Chablis is raised for 8-10 months in stainless steel to preserve the purity of the Chardonnay and the crisp, mineral style for which the appellation is famous.
