Tasting notes

Golden yellow colour. Aromas of apricot, ripe peach and white flowers, now joined by honey and gentle spice with age. The palate is full and creamy, with a rich, oily texture balanced by freshness, and a long, aromatic finish.

About this wine

Domaine René Rostaing is a renowned Northern Rhône producer, best known for its Côte-Rôtie. "La Bonnette" is the estate's white wine from the small Condrieu appellation on the right bank of the Rhône.

Here, on steep terraces carved into granite slopes, only one grape is grown: Viognier. Condrieu is famous for its aromatic, generous whites with a rich, almost oily texture.

The 2015 vintage has now entered a more mature phase, gaining complexity and honeyed depth while keeping the floral and stone-fruit charm that makes this appellation so sought after.
