Tasting notes

Deep yellow with golden highlights. Aromas of wildflowers, hay and almond. The palate is juicy and full-bodied, with a good balance between freshness and texture, closing on a gentle almond note.

About this wine

Friulano is the emblematic white grape of Friuli, and La Roncaia grows it in the Colli Orientali hills around Ramandolo, Nimis, Attimis and Tarcento, on marl and sandstone soils. The estate has belonged to the Fantinel family since 1998.

After vinification the wine rests for six months in bottle, stored horizontally, before release, gaining harmony while keeping its varietal freshness.

The 2022 is a juicy, full-bodied white with the floral and almond character typical of the variety, a natural companion to Friuli's famous prosciutto, cured meats and simple vegetable starters.
