Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with a fine, lively mousse. The nose shows ripe pear, peach, mango and melon with a seductive aromatic purity. The palate is full, clean and elegant, following the fruit with a caressing texture, fine balance and a fresh, lingering finish.

About this wine

Le Réserve Extra Brut is the signature non-vintage champagne of Billecart-Salmon, the family-run house founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region. Its extra brut style, with very low dosage, lets the purity of the fruit speak clearly.

The blend combines 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from several crus, enriched with reserve wines that keep the style consistent from year to year. Fermentation at low temperature, a hallmark of the house, preserves aromatic finesse, and the wine then ages for about 48 months on its lees.

Presented in the impressive Imperial format of 6 litres, it is a spectacular bottle for celebrations and large gatherings.
