Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose recalls white flowers, citrus and bread crust. The palate is crisp and enveloping, with Durella's lively acidity balanced by a creamy texture and a long, fresh, mineral finish.

About this wine

Canoso is a winery in Monteforte d'Alpone, in the Soave Classico area of Veneto, that selects its grapes by hand. Lento is its traditional-method sparkling wine made from Durella, a local grape grown on basaltic volcanic soils and prized for its vibrant natural acidity.

The name, Italian for "slow", refers to the long ageing on the yeasts that shapes the wine's texture before disgorgement and further rest in bottle.

The 2020 vintage continues the style of the cuvée: an Extra Brut with bright freshness, fine bubbles and a soft, enveloping palate.
