Tasting notes

Brilliant colour with golden highlights. Aromas of citrus, acacia, lemon verbena and white fruit. The palate is full and rounded, with good freshness and a long, saline finish that recalls the nearby sea.

About this wine

Domaine de Carteyron is a 9-hectare family estate at the foot of Gassin, between the Massif des Maures and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, where granite and gneiss soils meet a strong maritime influence. Its wines are distributed by Les Maîtres Vignerons de la Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez.

The name Malyse honours Marie-Louise Roux, who handed the estate down to agronomist Patrick Valentin. Based on Rolle, the grapes are picked by hand from dawn and whole-bunch pressed, giving a full, rounded white with citrus and white flower notes and a long, saline finish.
