Tasting notes

Delicate pearly pink, like the inside of a seashell. The nose offers small pastries, blackcurrant and wild Sicilian strawberries, with plum and pineapple in the background. The palate is supple and soft, with delicate acidity that makes it very pleasant and easy to drink.

About this wine

Planeta's rosé comes from the Dispensa and Gurra vineyards near Menfi, in south-western Sicily, which lie just 70 to 75 metres above sea level. The family winery has made it since 2007 as a fresh, easy-drinking expression of the Sicilian coast.

The blend brings together the native Nero d'Avola with Syrah, completed by a small share of other varieties including Sauvignon Blanc.

Delicate pearl pink in colour, supple and soft on the palate, it is a rosé made for aperitifs, long summer lunches and the seafood dishes of the island.
