About this wine

Prelius is the line of wines that the family behind Castello di Volpaia makes in the Maremma, in the Prile area, the modern name of the ancient Lake Prelius.

This 100% Vermentino grows on a south-facing hill at about 40-50 metres above sea level, on clay and sandy soils, with Guyot-trained vines. The closeness of the Tyrrhenian Sea shapes its style: fresh, saline and bright, with lively citrus fruit.

An elegant coastal white that captures the light and breeze of the Tuscan shore, ideal for seafood and summer evenings.
