Tasting notes

Bright red. The nose is pleasant and delicate, with expressive fruit, mainly cherry and red berries, and a light sweet spice from the oak. The palate is soft and warm, with a harmonious body and a smooth finish. It opens up nicely with a little air and is best served in a generous glass, where its fruit and structure can fully unfold.

About this wine

Cantina Museo Albea of Alberobello completes its classic range with a Primitivo from Manduria, the most celebrated area for this grape in Puglia. The wine is made entirely from Primitivo.

After about fifteen days of maceration it ages for eight months in French barriques and a further four months in bottle. The oak rounds out the ripe fruit typical of the variety without overpowering it.

It is a soft, warm and harmonious expression of the appellation, made for generous Apulian-style meals.
